In honor of the Disney film Fantasia, we add the incredibly evocative Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Paul Dukas. You can almost see brooms marching along with buckets of water.

  Season‘s Turn

As the weather turns colder, help us celebrate with music that brings in the new season. We start with the lush Snow Maiden Suite by Rimsky-Korsakov. Next we dance with Winter from Vivaldi‘s Four Seasons. And to really send chills up your spine, we conclude with Tchaikovsky‘s Symphony No. 6, Op. 74, otherwise known as the Pathétique (passionate and emotional). Full of gorgeous themes you‘ll know, the Pathétique has become a staple in film scores such as Anna Karenina, Minority Report, and The Aviator. This concert is made possible through the generous support of The Home Depot. With their support, and in honor of Veteran's Day, any veteran receives $10 off this concert at the door.

Spring is right around the corner. Let us bring you on a journey from darkness into light with music. We start with Richard Strauss‘s Death and Transfiguration, which depicts the thoughts of a dying artist from his childhood innocence, through struggles of manhood, to his final resting place in heaven. And we celebrate the light with Mussorgsky‘s Introduction to Khovanshchina and Rimsky-Korsakov‘s beautiful and lush Russian Easter Festival. This concert is made possible through the generous support of Numerex Corp.
